Why does this project exist?
The original online service for Mighty DOOM is no longer available, which made the game unplayable for everyone who owned it. This independent community project exists to preserve a playable experience by running a community-hosted backend server.
The project does not claim ownership of the original game, its artwork or its trademarks. It only provides a community-operated server and a client build configured to reach it.
Community project
This project is maintained independently by community members in their free time. Availability, updates and fixes depend on volunteer time and on the infrastructure the community can afford to run.
